Directions: Simply rinse the dried mushrooms in cold water. Soak in warm water equal to twice the volume of mushrooms. Soak for 1 hour and 30 minutes. The mushrooms should be firm and tender. If dry or rough, continue soaking until desired consistency is achieved. Squeeze out excess water. Use mushrooms as needed. Use remaining water as a base for sauces, soups, and stocks.
