4. Heating the pot will cause the handle to heat up, please use it carefully to prevent burns.
Dry the cleaned cookware and use pigskin (which can be replaced with cooking oil) to repeatedly wipe the inside of the pot, keeping the oil in the pot for 5-10 hours before use.
1. At the beginning, blackening is considered normal. During transportation from the factory, vegetable oil is applied to prevent rusting and does not contain harmful substances.
2. The uncoated iron pot is suitable for any spatula and stove (except microwave ovens), and the round bottom is not suitable for induction cookers.
3. At the beginning of cooking, be sure to heat up thoroughly (preferably with smoke) before adding cooking oil, and then add food after the oil has heated up. Never use cold oil in a pot! Do not make starchy foods for now. It can achieve a non stick effect in the later stage.
4. Cast iron pots are formed by pouring molten iron into sand molds and hand polishing, so the surface will not be as smooth as stainless steel or refined iron kitchen utensils. So the finished product may inevitably form sand holes and shallow pits. These are not quality issues!
5. After use, if there are water stains on the pot body, please dry and seal it to prevent rusting. Apply vegetable oil on the surface for better results. If rusting occurs, clean the rust with a scouring pad and repeat the boiling process.
