It's a very convenient feature that eliminates the need to keep your foot on the pedal or frantically change foot position when the traffic light changes. However, there's one drawback: the hold brake function is turned off when the engine is turned off, meaning you have to turn it on again the next time you drive, which is a real hassle. When you start the engine, close the driver's door, and fasten the driver's seat belt, the green HOLD function standby indicator will automatically light up. After that, when you step on the brake to stop the vehicle, such as when waiting at a traffic light, the yellow HOLD indicator will light up, and the vehicle will not move forward even if you take your foot off the brake pedal. The brakes will be held. If you want to turn the function off, you can do so by pressing and holding the brake hold button for about 7 seconds. Easy installation with just a coupler!
