These forged pegs are made by heating round steel material to red hot temperatures of approximately 1100°C and then forging the cross section into an oval shape with a powerful force of approximately one ton. By applying strong pressure to the heated steel, pegs with excellent strength are completed. Regular round pegs tend to spin around in the ground, making them difficult to use, but oval pegs penetrate easily into hard ground mixed with gravel and stones, and stay firmly in place without spinning around in the ground. In addition, the material is designed to be thicker in the direction of rope pulling, making it very durable.
