Soft black velvet gives this notebook a quiet, tactile presence before a word is written. The silver ‘Carpe Diem’ design makes it feel suited to daily journaling, study notes, creative writing, or a few honest lines at the end of the day.
What the cover invites
The black velvet cover brings a soft, strokeable texture to a desk, bedside table, or reading corner.
The silver lettering catches the eye without feeling loud, a small prompt to begin rather than postpone.
Its mood is reflective and pared back, made for thoughts, plans, gratitude notes, and private pages.
The contrast of dark cover and bright detail gives it a calm, slightly ceremonial feel.
It suits moments when a phone feels too fast and paper feels more deliberate.
Velvet cover, paper pages
The notebook is made with a paper interior and a polyester velvet cover. The finish is soft and dark, with the ‘Carpe Diem’ motif set in silver on the front.
Writing with it
Keep it close for morning pages, study notes, lists, ideas, or a simple record of the day.
A daily phrase on the cover
‘Carpe Diem’ is a Latin phrase commonly translated as ‘seize the day’. On a notebook, it works as a gentle marker for attention: a place to notice what matters, write down what might otherwise pass, and give shape to the small plans and reflections that make up a lived day.
