Taperwound strings are typically used on both fretted and fretless basses. They are designed to deliver the richness of traditional flatwound strings and the vintage tone heard in upright bass attack. These flat black nylon strings offer ultimate smoothness, long life, and balanced tension. They fit standard bass saddles and nuts.
