Note:
Wetsuit Maintenance and CareA.Usage1. Avoid sitting on rough surfaces.2. Prevent sunscreen, sun oil, or other oily products from contacting the wetsuit.3. Avoid prolonged exposure to strong sunlight, as this can cause neoprene and fabric to degrade, become brittle, crack, or discolor. If you frequently engage in water activities, wear a UPF50+ sun shirt over your wetsuit.
B. Cleaning1. Rinse the wetsuit with refreshing, cooling to remove salt, sand, sun oil, sunscreen, and other substances. No detergent is usually needed.2. For stubborn discoloration or odors, use a wetsuit specific or mild neutral detergent. Soak for no more than 2 hours, then rinse thoroughly with clean water.3. Check zippers and strap for sand and debris, and clean them promptly.4. Do not wring out the wetsuit. Instead, roll it in a dry towel to absorb excess water.5. Do not machine wash, tumble dry, iron, or bleach the wetsuit.6. Dry the wetsuit in a shaded, well ventilated area. Hang it on a wide hanger or lay it flat on a soft touch surface. Avoid direct sunlight.
C.Storage1. Hang the wetsuit on a wetsuit specific hanger or a wide, non angular hanger. If folding or rolling for storage in a closet or suitcase, avoid heavy pressure. Prolonged folding rolling may cause creases that are hard to remove.2. Do not store the wetsuit in a sealed bag or hot environment (e.g., a car trunk) for extended periods, as this can accelerate fading and color transfer.
D.Thermal Insulation PrincipleWhen diving, a small amount of water enters the space between your skin and the wetsuit through the neck, cuffs, and leg openings. This cold water is trapped by the porous neoprene layer
