The Canon EW-78F Lens Hood is designed to extend the edge of the lens to shade it, preventing unwanted stray light from entering the lens. Additionally, because the lens edge is extended, it offers the benefit of extra protection from accidental impacts. Compatible with the Canon RF 24-240mm f/4-6.3 IS USM lens.
