NP perforated plates have many applications in the field of simple overlapping connections. To avoid eccentricities, it is recommended to use tiles in pairs, connected on both sides to wooden elements.
1. Ease of installation and versatility
NP perforated tiles are easy to install and can be used for a variety of overlapping connections.
2. Appropriate hole spacing
The tiles have an optimal hole layout and spacing, which limits wood delamination during installation. This makes the connections not only stronger, but also more durable, which translates into a longer lifespan of the entire structure.
3. Service class 2
Characterized by material moisture corresponding to a temperature of 20°C and a relative humidity of the surrounding air exceeding 85% only for a few weeks a year. (e.g. open sheds or unheated attic)
Application and installation method
• Perforated plates transfer tensile forces; it is recommended to use two plates for each connection.
• Intended for simple, uncomplicated connections.
• Used as a replacement for nail plates in roof trusses.
