What is ETRTO size and why is it worth paying attention to?

ETRTO is a standardized way of marking tire size, thanks to which you can easily match the right model to your bike. The format is e.g. 42-622, where:

• 42 mm – tire width,

• 622 mm – tire inner diameter, corresponding to the rim diameter.

Important: The diameter (second number) must be identical to your current tire. The width (first number) may differ if the frame design allows.
