Occlusives / emollients: Petrolatum or hydrogenated polyisobutene, shea butter, squalane or various esters to lock in moisture and soften lips. Humectants: Glycerin, hyaluronic acid (sodium hyaluronate) or butylene glycol to attract and retain water. Soothing / restorative actives: Panthenol (pro‑vitamin B5), tocopherol (vitamin E) for antioxidant and calming effects. Film‑forming agents & stabilizers: Polymers or waxes (beeswax, candelilla, or synthetic waxes) to give structure and lasting adherence.
