Product Description
■ [Tap and Die Size] M12 x 1.00 ■ The thread outer diameter is 12mm and the pitch is 1.00, a metric standard. ■ Die Diameter: 25mm. Please use the dedicated handle for 25mm diameter taps. ■ Tap Overall Length: Approx. 70mm, Base Width: Approx. 7mm ■ Die Thickness: Approx. 9.5mm ■ This is a tap and die set (not sold separately). ■ Pitch 1.0 is often used to join dissimilar materials, such as aluminum alloy and steel, or brass and resin. ■ This is a special fine-thread size. ■ To resharpen, follow the standard procedure: apply lubricant, rotate 180 degrees, then return 90 degrees. ■ While it is possible to cut threads from relatively soft metals without using a pilot hole tap, for extremely hard steels, this should only be used for resharpening. ■ The package may be opened for inspection.
