■ All 80 Muscle Cars Gathered! Die-cast Miniature Collection
A lineup of 80 popular high-performance American cars, mainly from the 1960s and 1970s, known as muscle cars. Made of heavy-duty 1/43 scale die-cast metal, the realistic coloring, emblems, and details faithfully reproduce the original models. (Some parts are made of plastic.) The inaugural issue features the "Ford Mustang Shelby GT500," released in 1964, a quintessential muscle car that revolutionized the history of sports cars. Issues two and beyond will continue to feature popular models such as the Chevrolet Corvette C3 and the Pontiac Firebird Trans Am. In addition to introducing the models included, the magazine is packed with fascinating content such as behind-the-scenes stories of development that look back on the history of American cars, and USA News that looks back on American society in the 1960s and 1970s.
