For skin that likes a more tactile wash, this jute exfoliating mitt brings a firm, earthy texture to bath or shower time. Slip it over your hand, add water and your usual wash, and let the woven fibre turn a quick cleanse into a simple body-smoothing ritual.
The feel of woven jute
The texture is honest and scrubby.
Used damp, it helps lift away dead skin cells and leaves the body feeling freshly polished.
The brown tone has a natural, bathroom-friendly look, warm rather than clinical.
The mitt shape keeps the scrub close to your palm, useful for shoulders, arms, legs and feet.
Jute has a faintly earthy character when wet, closer to natural fibre than perfumed plastic.
Plant fibre, made for a firmer wash
Made from jute, this mitt sits in the sturdier side of bathing accessories. It is biodegradable. The finish is simple and practical: a textured woven surface for exfoliating, shaped as a mitt for easy handling.
How to use it in the bath or shower
Wet the mitt and use it with gentle pressure on the body, working in small circular motions or long strokes. It suits arms, legs, feet and areas where you prefer a more invigorating scrub.
Rinse well after use and let it dry fully between washes. Natural fibres last better when they are not left sitting wet.
Natural scrubs in daily bathing
Natural-fibre mitts and body scrubs have a long place in bathing rituals, from spa exfoliation to hammam-style washing. Jute brings that idea into a straightforward everyday tool: textured enough to feel purposeful, but familiar and unpretentious. Rather than relying on a disposable plastic sponge, it returns to older materials that were valued for their strength and honest feel against the skin.
