Also known as the 'Thumb Piano,' 'Hand Orgel,' or 'Finger Piano,' the Kalimba is a traditional African musical instrument that allows anyone to easily produce beautiful sounds just by touching the keys, making it suitable for beginners.
• The Kalimba features a stylish and cute design with a cat and crescent moon motif. It is available in two colors that evoke the warmth of wood: 'MoonCat Coffee' and 'MoonCat Maple.' The set includes a tuning hammer, cleaning cloth, marker stickers, and an instruction manual.
• The Kalimba is crafted from carefully selected single-piece mahogany wood, providing a clear, crisp tone, long sustain, and stable sound. Mahogany is a durable, hard wood that delivers a warm, deep sound.
• A tuning hammer is included with the Kalimba. Please use a tuner app or a commercial tuner to adjust the pitch before playing.
• The keys of the Kalimba are engraved with numbers and letters. In the C tuning Kalimba, the numbers 1/2/3/4/5/6/7 correspond to Do/Re/Mi/Fa/Sol/La/Si. The letters C/D/E/F/G/A/B also represent Do/Re/Mi/Fa/Sol/La/Si. The ● above the numbers or letters indicates one octave higher, and ●● indicates two octaves higher.
