The stud itself is a crystal then from there it drops down and has a selection of large and small pearls and crystals. From this there are 3 chains....1 swags across and 2 hang down at different lengths. The earrings are for pierced ears so they do have silver butterfly backs to match. All the metal is silver 🙂 They look heavy but intact they're really very very light and don't pull down your ears like other large earrings.
