Reconstructing materials, structure, and shape. A new approach to tarps to make camping in the scorching sun more comfortable. A newly developed fabric (NIRest) made by weaving SOLAMENT (near-infrared absorbing material) into the yarn and using a special modified twill weave is used for the outer tarp. It effectively blocks near-infrared rays. It firmly blocks the heat of direct sunlight and also cuts down on the burden on the human body caused by ultraviolet rays.
The inner tarp blocks near-infrared heat transmission and radiant heat that the outer tarp couldn't completely prevent. The adjustable side panels allow for air intake and block sunlight from the sides, further reducing reflected heat. The double-layered structure then cools the heat absorbed and circulating within the fabric, releasing it efficiently with the power of the wind. This is a completely new approach to tarps, developed by rethinking the conventional concept of tarps.
