Folding decorative folding Leaves with fan in a <Kyoto Fan> Double-sided fan, Yamabuki-hime/Autumn design, stand, box.

made in Japan Base coat: gold leaf Materials: Bamboo x Paper (Washi paper) This is a Japanese-made double-sided decorative fan. The front features a design of Yamabuki-hime (a famous Japanese princess), and the reverse side depicts autumn leaves. Each fan is hand-painted by a Yuzen dyeing artist. Because the gold leaf is applied by hand, there may occasionally be slight streaks of gold. It comes as a set with a fan stand and is packaged in a special presentation box. The fan stand has a hole at the top of the base, allowing it to be hung on a wall hook. It makes an ideal gift. (The photo of the fan in the box is for illustrative purposes only.)
