These are drumsticks made of beech wood. Please use them in conjunction with the separately sold "Sato no Hibiki" series long drums: 1 shaku 3 sun (HT-N13), 1 shaku 4 sun (HT-N14), flat drum (HT-H12), and shime-daiko (HT-S20). It's a slightly softer material than oak. Compared to drumsticks made from magnolia wood, it's more durable and offers excellent cost performance. Beech wood drumsticks are between those made of oak and magnolia wood in terms of hardness and weight, making them a cost-effective and recommended product for a wide range of users. It's difficult to say definitively as it depends on the school of music and the player's physique, but generally, a size of φ24 x 360mm/390mm is recommended. For children playing, we recommend using smaller mallets, such as those measuring φ21 x 330mm in diameter.
