【Voltage Compatibility】
When using electrical appliances, please note that they are designed for Japanese voltage specifications (90-110V), so if you use them with a different voltage, it may cause a malfunction.
【Plug Type】
Our products use Japanese plug types (A or B type).
Please use a conversion adapter if necessary.
【Important Note on Transformers and Adapters】
A transformer adjusts voltage to match your device’s requirements.
A conversion adapter only changes the plug shape and does not adjust voltage.
Using only a conversion adapter without a transformer may result in damage to the product.
【Liability】
We are not responsible for malfunctions or damages caused by improper use, such as operating the product without a transformer.
✨[Product Description] The original fabrics for 'N THE NAVY' are woven by a weaving company in Nishijin, Kyoto, with a 164-year history. The fabrics are then sewn by a sewing company in Uji, Kyoto, which is celebrating its 52nd year in business. Through the cooperation of both companies, we create ties that combine timeless, classic fabrics and sewing techniques with a modern touch.
✨[5 Key Points] (1) High thread count ⇒ The fabric is supple yet substantial, and above all, it has a high-quality firmness and resilience, creating a very elegant sheen. (2) The good old "silk rustle" ⇒ This is the "squeaky" sound that occurs when silk is rubbed together. (3) Hand-stitched ⇒ Each tie is carefully sewn by hand by skilled craftsmen, resulting in an exceptionally comfortable fit when worn. (4) Loose thread ⇒ When tying the tie, this thread moves to distribute the force, reducing damage to the stitching and fabric. (5) 100% wool core ⇒ Ties made with a 100% wool core have the advantage of a snug fit and a knot that stays in place from morning until evening, thanks to the synergistic effect with the tightly woven fabric.
✨[Composition] 100% Silk ✨[Country of Origin] Made in Japan, hand-sewn by Kyoto craftsmen ✨[Size] Blade width: 8cm, Total length: 145cm
✨[Nishijin District, the birthplace of Nishijin weaving] All of our THE NAVY brand ties are woven in the Nishijin district of Kyoto City, the birthplace of Nishijin weaving, by rare weaving mills that still exist today. We manufacture them with pride and dignity as Nishijin weaving.
