The momentous 100th S.H.Figuarts (True Bone Carving Method) Kamen Rider series figure! "Kamen Rider 1 (Kamen Rider THE NEXT)," originally released in 2008 as the first in the S.H.Figuarts brand lineup, is reborn with the True Bone Carving Method! Clear parts are used for the compound eyes "C-eyes" on the mask. In addition to the slender proportions, every wrinkle on the body is meticulously sculpted, realistically pursuing the texture of the special reinforced suit. The scars on the head mask, incurred in battle with the secret organization "Shocker," are thoroughly reproduced using digital printing. Different shades of green are used for different parts such as the mask, chest "Converter Lung," gloves, and boots, faithfully differentiating them. The new articulation structure, where the shoulders rotate towards the torso, allows for natural posing of "Kamen Rider 1." Soft parts are used for the collar, abdomen, and belt area. Designed with riding a motorcycle in mind, the abdomen tucks under the belt to ensure a wide range of motion. The costume allows for the recreation of memorable battle scenes from the film and a wide range of action poses. The scarf uses a wire-reinforced fabric part, enabling the recreation of various scenes, from moments of intense action to the way it flutters in the wind.
The figure allows for expressive posing. It also includes an interchangeable head to recreate the mask-off state. The figure was created by scanning Masaya Kikawada, who played Takeshi Hongo in "Kamen Rider THE NEXT," and recreating the facial structure from the bone. Combined with materials from that time, it recreates Takeshi Hongo as he appeared in the theatrical release (2007).
