Remove the existing gear shift knob and measure the diameter of the threaded rod. 2. Select the appropriate one from the two adapters. (Note: If the two adapters are different sizes from your car's threaded rod, select the adapter that is closest in size, secure it with adhesive tape, and then tighten the shift knob stick.) 3. Attach the adapter to the gear lever. 4. Attach the new shift knob head directly to the gear rod. Precautions: Please ensure that your existing stick shifter is removable. 1. Not usable if you need to lift the reverse gear of a manual car. 2. Not usable if the car's reverse gear is button-locked. 3. Not usable if the existing gear knob cannot be removed.
