[A luxurious bowl crafted with the utmost care honed through tea ceremony utensil production] Made from high-quality natural zelkova wood turned on a lathe, generously adorned with lacquer and silver, and crafted using the maki-e (gold lacquer) techniques cultivated through the manufacture of tea ceremony utensils. Named "Urushi Kenko Wan" (Lacquer Health Bowl) with the wish for the customer's happiness. It will become more cherished the more you use it. The inside is finished with a silver nashiji (pear-skin) glaze using plenty of lacquer and silver, making each grain of rice stand out and enhancing its deliciousness. The outside is sprinkled with zelkova wood powder and thoroughly coated with lacquer, resulting in an exquisite texture. Kasei named the vessel made using this technique "Keyaki Bijin" (Zelkova Beauty), meaning "a vessel (beauty) adorned with a zelkova kimono." Furthermore, Kanazawa gold leaf is applied in a band, and Korin-sui (a type of water feature) is hand-painted on top using maki-e.
