The back cover has a coin edge treatment as well, giving it an excellent side view. TYPEA-11 was a design adopted by the US Army Air Corps during World War II, and was manufactured by three contractors at the time. Testing began in 1937 and it was decided as standard equipment in 1940, and we have faithfully reproduced the representative model of the US Army Air Corps in an easy-to-use manner. The white Arabic numerals engraved on the deep black dial, similar to the instruments on fighter jets, are minimalist in design, and are details that boast extremely high legibility. The belt is a separate upper and lower belt (dark green) made of cotton chino cloth, just like the original at the time. *Please be aware that the color will fade and the threads will fray as you use them.
