The IST is a thumb-operated trackball that offers an ergonomic shape that allows for comfortable operation and incredibly smooth operability. The support unit uses high-performance bearings manufactured by MinebeaMitsumi. This reduces frictional resistance, resulting in a smooth ball control that feels as if it is floating in the air. In addition, since the ball surface does not rub against the bearings, dust does not easily collect on the support unit, allowing for long-term maintenance-free use.
