Product Introduction TIMEX Men's T40051 Expedition Metal Field Brown Leather Strap Analog Watch Usage Instructions 1.0 Purpose: 1.1 To provide model operation and setup instructions to the customer service center for 904/905/944/9D5 watches. 2.0 Watch operation and setup. 2.1 How to start the watch If the watch has an e-guard (a small plastic piece inserted between the case and the crown), pull it downwards (perpendicular to the back of the watch case). 2.2 Time setting. a. Pull the crown to set position 2 (the second hand will stop moving). b. Rotate the crown to move the hour and minute hands clockwise to display the correct time. Note: When passing from 12 o'clock to 1 o'clock, be sure to check the position of the AM or PM hand. If the date change occurs, the time will be AM; if the date does not change, it will be PM. c. Push the crown back to the zero position. The second hand will resume movement after one second. 2.3 Date setting. Applies only to watches with quick date function (M905 & M9D5). a. Pull the crown to position 1. b. Rotate the crown in either direction until the current date is displayed. c. The date number should increase or decrease depending on the direction of the crown. d. Push the crown back to the zero position. Note: If the above date setting occurs between 10 PM and 2 AM, the date number adjustment is incremental. 2.4 INDIGLO Activation This applies only to watch styles with the INDIGLO function (M904 & M905). Note: Models with this feature usually have the word INDIGLO printed on the watch display area. Due to technical limitations, some products may show a small area without lighting at the 6 o'clock or 12 o'clock position on the dial. This is not a defect. a. Push the crown inward. The watch display will light up with a blue-green or blue light. b. Return the crown to the zero position to turn off the INDIGLO light.
