We make them from carefully selected wood, which we source in Poland and also find in the farthest corners of the world. Padouk is a type of wood obtained from sandalin (Pterocarpus) trees. It is found in Africa – primarily in the Congo and Zaire. It is also called padauk or paduk. Padouk wood is quite heavy and very hard. Like most exotic species, this wood is characterized by high durability and resistance to weather and moisture. It is easy to work with. Padouk has a color similar to mahogany – brownish-red, brown with orange abrasions. The wood grain is very visible. The grain is straight and quite regular. Padouk is ideal for the production of floors, doors, windows, and stairs. It is used in furniture, violin-making, boatbuilding, woodworking, and both interior and exterior joinery. Polycarbonate [used as a base/backing for our wood] – is a material characterized by dimensional stability, high stiffness, and shape stability under the influence of temperature. It is odorless and has excellent impact resistance. It's matte and pleasant to the touch, making it the perfect finish for our wooden cases. TPU silicone [covering the sides of the phone on all four sides] – the most important feature that distinguishes this material is its high flexibility, which allows our cases to perfectly fit the shape of the phone. A case made of silicone will also be flexible across a wide range of temperatures, which is also important. Its excellent abrasion resistance is also very important. TPU silicone also absorbs impacts very well. The plasticity and durability of the material we use will ensure your phone is perfectly protected, and removing and installing the case will be simple and intuitive. Precision of workmanshipThe creation of each of our wooden cases is accompanied by a complex and time-consuming production process. We attach great importance to every, even the smallest, aspect of our case. We use top-of-the-line machines to cut and engrave wood, allowing us to achieve accuracy down to 0.01mm. A significant portion of the production is done by hand, which is rarely seen these days. Sanding, varnishing, polishing, and precisely gluing the wood are the result of hard work by our hands.
