We make them from carefully selected wood, which we source in Poland and also find in the farthest corners of the world. Santos rosewood is the wood of tropical trees of the closely related species Dalbergia and Machaerium, which grow in regions of Central and South America, Africa, Madagascar, and South Asia. The most common species of this tree in Europe is the East Indian rosewood. It reaches a height of 20-25 m, with a trunk up to 12 m long and a diameter of up to 80 cm. It grows very slowly, reaching larger dimensions only after about 100 years. The wood of this tree emits a pungent, aromatic scent. Rosewood is a heavy, very durable wood. Its structure is incredibly decorative and has a distinctive grain. Polycarbonate [used as the base/backing for our wood] – is a material characterized by dimensional stability, high stiffness, and thermal stability. It is odorless and has excellent impact resistance. It's matte and pleasant to the touch, making it the perfect finish for our wooden cases. TPU silicone [covering the sides of the phone on all four sides] – the most important feature that distinguishes this material is its high flexibility, which allows our cases to perfectly fit the shape of the phone. A case made of silicone will also be flexible across a wide range of temperatures, which is also important. Its excellent abrasion resistance is also very important. TPU silicone also absorbs impacts very well. The plasticity and durability of the material we use will ensure your phone is perfectly protected, and removing and installing the case will be simple and intuitive. Precision of workmanshipThe creation of each of our wooden cases is accompanied by a complex and time-consuming production process. We attach great importance to every, even the smallest, aspect of our case. We use top-of-the-line machines to cut and engrave wood, allowing us to achieve accuracy down to 0.01mm. A significant portion of the production is done by hand, which is rarely seen these days. Sanding, varnishing, polishing, and precisely gluing the wood are the result of hard work by our hands.
