תיאור
This unique model of a highly recognizable and still-serving tank is the PzKpfw VI Tiger No. 131. Captured by the British in Africa during World War II, the famous Tiger is now a major attraction in tank museums. This meticulously recreated 1:28 scale Tiger 131 features moving elements like the turret and barrel, as well as rotating wheels and tracks. This sophisticated set consists of 1,275 elements and faithfully reflects the original shape of its historical inspiration. Our powerful Tiger tank is covered with a high-quality print that will never wear off. Of particular note is the new color scheme, which closely resembles the original, making the model look dazzling! The tank design has also changed, achieving even greater accuracy. It now uses an all-new drive wheel. The turret structure is also completely different, referencing the original in detail and skillfully imitating the block-like internal elements. The set includes a miniature Maybach engine that can be displayed next to the model or placed on the tank under the service hatch. The model has moving wheels and tracks made of numerous links. Optionally, you can drive the tank and watch the truck function. The included tank ammunition can also be placed inside. The hatch opens, and there's space underneath for a standard COBI figure. The entire set includes a white plate printed with the tank's name and the Tank Museum logo. Build history one piece at a time and complete your collection with COBI. The Panzerkampfwagen VI (Tiger) was a German heavy tank of World War II. Its distinctive shape is still recognized worldwide. The vehicle itself has become legendary, present not only in historical documents but also in pop culture. The first Tiger units were delivered to the front near Leningrad and Tunisia in August and September 1942. Designed and manufactured by Henschel, the tank was highly modern and effective. Unfortunately, its production consumed enormous resources of precious raw materials and time. The Tiger I and several Tiger II tanks had a significant impact on hostilities. The infamous and feared Tigers destroyed over 10,300 Allied tanks and 11,380 guns, suffering 1,725 casualties.
