This fountain pen features a medium-length (0.45 mm writing stroke) silky-smooth stainless steel nib with a finely etched silver leaf pattern. It comes with chrome-plated brass hardware and a black acrylic grip. Shiny chrome-plated brass hardware and an intricate Gillock cap adorn this handmade pen. The pen features a round, smooth barrel made of Grade AAA ocean white mother-of-pearl, a natural, marine-origin material. Long panels of this precious material are carefully measured, cut, positioned, and polished by hand to create a perfectly smooth, seamless, round surface. This intensive polishing process allows the deep vibrancy and iridescence of nacre to emerge naturally, without the need for a clear coat or other finish. A shimmering array of various colors and hues can be seen shifting across the pen's body in the light. While some manufacturers craft pens with tiny pieces of nacre, at Xezo, we believe the difficulty and expense of using ocean nacre of this size and quality makes the stunning effect worth all the effort.
