Fuzz for bass! Chelsea is a bass fuzz pedal developed as LCD Soundsystem's signature pedal. It originated from a Big Muff pedal owned by the band's James Murphy and used in numerous recordings and live performances. However, years of use caused parts to deteriorate, resulting in a unique sound. Chelsea was developed and designed to faithfully reproduce that sound. Its harsh yet not-so-harsh fuzz, sometimes approaching overdrive, creates a unique sound that complements EDM, pop, and vocals. Chelsea is a versatile pedal that can be used not only on bass but also on guitar, synthesizers, and drums without any issues.
