Then install the strainer, and pour ground coffee into the strainer (do not tamp it down). Place on the stove. As the water boils, it turns into steam and then passes from the lower reservoir to the top, brewing the coffee in the strainer. When you hear steam whistling from the bottom opening, remove the coffee maker from the stove. Total brewing time is 3-4 minutes
