Presented here is the Citizen Seven Star Deluxe 23 Jewels, Ref. 4-520173TA. Launched in the 1970s, the Seven Star collection was originally targeted at young professionals. Despite being positioned as an accessible line, the series featured a vast array of specifications and designs. Today, it remains a favorite among collectors due to the existence of rare variations that are seldom seen on the market.

This particular model is the "Deluxe," a higher-tier version within the series. It features a sophisticated brushed grey dial paired with multi-width bar indices and sleek baton hands. The unique vertical day-date display at the 6 o'clock position adds a distinctive touch of character. The design is further elevated by a fixed inner chapter ring, providing a luxurious and classic aesthetic. The stainless steel case sports a soft, rounded tonneau shape and features a "C" marked crown. The screw-back case ensures durability and airtightness. It comes equipped with an authentic Citizen stainless steel bracelet. Condition, Flaws, & Accessories Dial: In good condition with no major damage. Note that the hands, indices, and luminous material show signs of aging/patina.

Case & Case Back: Shows some scuffs, small scratches, and minor dings consistent with age. There is a small chip/mark on the crown.

Crystal: Clear with no noticeable scratches or scuffs.

Bracelet: The buckle features the Citizen logo. While there are scuffs, small scratches, and a "卍" (manji) engraving mark, it is fully functional and ready to wear.

Operation: The crown is located at the 3 o'clock position. Manual winding is possible at the neutral position.

Pull the crown out one click and rotate to change the date.

Pull out two clicks to adjust the time.

Note: This model does not have a hacking (seconds-stop) function.

The day of the week is adjusted by rotating the hands.
