This is a replica jersey of the Japanese national rugby team. To express the dynamism and strength of the Japanese national team, we drew inspiration from Kabuki makeup and incorporated it into the design. The Rugby Association's mascot, "Renji," already wears an outfit inspired by a character from a Kabuki play. With the hope that Japanese rugby will become even more popular, like Kabuki which has remained popular since the Edo period, and that it will continue to flourish as a part of Japanese culture for many years to come, we have developed this new uniform. The colors of the 1st jersey were taken from the Japanese flag and the crimson mark, which represents a sense of justice, courage, superhuman strength, and overflowing energy.
