This is a metal horn with removable sound plates. It features a long-lasting, clear tone. Orff instruments are designed for educational settings and were proposed by the 20th-century German composer Carl Orff. They are suitable for students to 'make music' themselves. Even children without advanced musical skills can create music through thoughtful design. Suzuki's metal horn allows you to remove the sound plates and arrange only the necessary notes. In front of the array of sound plates, children may be unsure which notes to select to create music, but by leaving only the needed notes, they can freely create music with their imagination! For example, leaving only "Do," "Mi," "Fa," "Sol," "Si," and "Do" can produce Okinawan-style music without worrying about complex harmonies or note sequences. Choosing "Mi," "Sol," "La," "Si," "Re," and "Mi" can produce a sound reminiscent of folk songs or children's songs. You can also leave only the tonic notes of the key of the piece and add accompaniment freely!
